The Friends of Percy 51³Ô¹Ï School Summer Fayre

Last Saturday was one to remember as learners, families and staff gathered for our Summer Fayre

The Friends of Percy 51³Ô¹Ï School (FoPHS) Summer Fayre is always a much-anticipated event, featuring a vibrant mix of stalls offering a range of unique and high-quality items, activities, and a wonderful opportunity for our community to get together.

Our trade and information stalls included the community police, Northumbria Blood Bikes, Usborne Books, and a variety of arts and crafts, selling everything from beads to animated fairy light jars.

Alongside some fabulous trade stalls, attendees were also spoilt for choice with BBQ food, face painting, games, cotton candy and popcorn and a Ciccarelli gelato ice cream van.

A surprise visit from an elephant also went down a treat!

Our CEO John Preston tried his hand on the raffle stall, selling tickets for a chance to win some brilliant prizes. With prizes ranging from a free blow dry at Jo Bulwell Hair Salon to Scream for Pizza vouchers and even a Harry Potter modelling set, it’s safe to say the winners had plenty to smile about!

Children took turns drawing the lucky numbers, and with some attendees winning more than once, excitement filled the air as headteacher John Steward announced the winners.

The Summer Fayre raised an incredible £1453.89 for the Friends of Percy 51³Ô¹Ï School – an achievement that wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic support of everyone who came along and joined in the fun.

A huge thank you to our brilliant event traders, information stalls, enthusiastic attendees, dedicated learners, and hardworking staff, all of whom played a vital role in making the day truly unforgettable.
